Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: 
For Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

• 12th pass or equivalent Examination from a recognized board/ university.
• English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. on computer. OR Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m on the computer (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m) corresponding to 10500/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word

For Multi Tasking Staff (Peon):

• 10th pass or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.

Age limit (as on 10.01.2020): 
Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

• For OBC: 18 to 28 years
• For ST: 18 to 30 years

Multi Tasking Staff (Peon):

• For General/Unreserved: 18 to 25 years

Upper age limit is relaxed by:

• For Physically Handicapped persons: up to 13 years for OBC and 15 years for ST

Multi Tasking Staff (Peon):

Ministry of Defence Recruitment Selection process:

Selection will be done on the basis of written tests for Lower Division Clerk & Multi Tasking Staff (Peon). Typing Test for the post of LDC only
Written test:

• The paper will consist of Objective Type – Multiple Choice Questions only.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Typing Test for the Post of LDC only:

• Those who qualify in written test will only be called for the typing test.
• Typing Test will be of Qualifying in nature on computer.
• Typing test will be conducted only in English or Hindi

1. English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. (Time allowed 10 minutes) (30 minutes for VH
   candidates)
2. Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m. (Time allowed 10 minutes) (30 minutes for VH candidates) 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500 Key Depressions per hour/9000 Key Depression per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Note: Any error beyond 2% will attract deduction of 10 marks for each mistake. A candidate to score minimum 50 marks in the typing test.
