Educational Qualification:

For Trade Apprentice:

• Matric with two years ITI in relevant disciplines from a recognized University/Institute as a full time regular course in relevant disciplines.
• Relevant Field: Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist

Note:

• Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning Mode or Part Time Mode or Correspondence mode shall NOT be considered.
• Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E or equivalent, MBA or equivalent or MCA / CA/ ICWA, LLB shall NOT be considered.

Age Limit (as on 31.12.2019): 18 – 24 Years

IOCL Recruitment Selection Process:

Selection will be on the basis of performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Written Test
Written test pattern:

• The written test will comprise of objective type multiple choice (MCQ’s) questions

Trade Apprentice (Fitter/Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist):

• Technical Acumen in relevant discipline
• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English Language Skills

Minimum qualifying marks:

• The candidates will have to qualify successfully through each stage of the selection process i.e. Written Test (Minimum 40%, relaxable by 5% for candidates from SC/ST categories against reserved positions)

Written Test Location: The written test will be conducted at Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Bangalore
